The company COSMOFORM Ltd. has successfully implemented a project titled "Cosmoform – A New Future", reference number KK.03.2.2.04.0315

The project is based on the development of a new raw material. The final product would be an alternative to silicones D4/D5/D6, which would provide cosmetic products containing it with similar desirable characteristics, particularly an optimal sensory profile, as a prerequisite for the competitiveness and commercial success of the cosmetic product. Various formulations containing the developed raw material would also be created. The goal of the project is to improve the existing product in a way that incorporates both commercial and social value.

Total eligible costs – 1,660,257.82 HRK
Grants – 1,311,603.66 HRK
Private contribution – 741,983.96 HRK
The project began on June 14, 2019, and all activities were successfully completed by June 14, 2021.

Project goals and results:

• The new innovative formula will contribute to environmental protection by replacing harmful ingredients with natural ones in creams and other products.

• The innovative product and know-how coming from Croatia represent an excellent promotion of Croatia as an innovative country.

• There is a demand and need for this product, primarily driven by regulatory requirements.

• This investment solves the problem for cosmetic industry manufacturers in meeting export regulations for EU countries.

• End users will receive a quality product without harmful ingredients.

• This investment and the application of the formula in products by Croatian manufacturers will contribute to socially responsible business practices.
